Notes

I needed a break from all the mittens and gifts. This one is for ME. And I want it done fast so I can use it before the weather gets too hot.

MODS:

CO 59 sts to adjust for larger gauge yarn.

Progress:
4/19 - started 3rd repeat while commuting to work today.
4/20: - Into the 5th repeat. The yarn makes my hands feel very dry when knitting and I often have to stop and use moisturizer to continue.
4/21: 1 skein takes 5 repeats of the pattern.
4/22: 9 repeats. Most of this is being knit on my commute - I can get half the repeat done on one trip, so a full repeat in a round trip. I also made it to two knitting group meet ups this week, what a miracle! Good progress; I’d like to be finished by the end of the weekend?
4/28: Finished. Needs blocking. Small bit of yarn left over. Not sure of finished size yet, it will grow.

4/30: Blocked.

In review: I could have cast on 45 stitches to be narrower and longer. Very pretty pattern, I like it very much and it was super super easy. Love the color, too. The fabric softened up nicely after a good soak.
