This yarn looks beautifully in the skein, but it was not easy to find a pattern to suit it.
In the end I settled on doing the Factory Cast On, then 5 rounds of 1 by 1 ribbing, then 2 by 2 ribbing, decreasing sharply at the end.
This worked to prevent pooling.
