Knit with yarn I dyed with black walnuts harvested from my back yard. I used up every inch of the 246 yards.

Modified the pattern by knitting flat and adding button bands; also “wove” the larger cables.

The buttons are actually brightly colored, resin-coated coconut shells -- I used the back side. Loved the color and pattern of the shells.
