Heavy mods in the area of gauge and resulting stitch count -- going for “handmade” rather than “homemade.” Anxious to see how this yarn washes up… it’s not bad to knit!

12/27 - Knit a sleeve
12/28 - Knit the other sleeve

1/4 - Threw the parts in the washer and then pinned out to block (really using my new Block & Roll mat for the first time) (thumbs up). It’s so much easier to sew up flat pieces. I did a 3-needle bind-off at the shoulders. I wish there was an easier way to attach sleeves. Sewing up is next…

1/11 - Set in sleeves today and began seaming. Boy, once I get started it’s hard to stop… sure love the magic that is mattress stitch!

So happy with the tighter gauge! It really looks great.
