9/27/17: For various reasons, this blanket was never donated. It’s been kicking around for 8 years, obviously waiting for its destiny as a WELCOME BLANKET! It was mailed today to the Smart Museum of Art, The University of Chicago, 5550 S. Greenwood Ave., Chicago, IL 60637

The deadline for submissions has been extended until 11/4/17, and the exhibit runs until 12/17/17, after which the blankets will be distributed.

1/17/09: OK! Back to work on this blanket. The “border” has been executed on two sides and I’m making my way round the corner for the third. I’m ready to call this one a Finished Object!
