I used Mandy’s pattern as a very helpful guide for knitting this hat. I had a couple of false starts, but finally ended up using most of the numbers for the written pattern’s largest size, in a 3x2 corrugated rib, with fingering weight yarn and US4 needles… it came out pretty great!

Baby G is just about 7 weeks old in the photo -- taken on Dad K’s birthday! K’s mother-in-law asked if I’d be able to knit a hat for G that was similar to his dad’s favorite!! Stranded knitting is by no means my strength, but I managed.
