Trying to knit the cables without a cable needle.

1/1 LC:
Slip the first and second sts of your left needle onto your right needle K-wise, one after another.Then slip these two sts back onto your left needle by inserting the left needle tip from the right of the two sts, through both sts. Now K these two sts, one after the other.

1/1 RC:
Insert your right needle into the second st of your left needle, Kthis stand do not let the sts come off theneedles. Now insert your right needle into the first st on your left needle and K this stand then let both first and second sts come off your left needle.
