Lots of ends to weave in with 2 x double strands from the Latvian braids, the ends from the seams and shoulder grafts, ends from the changing of skeins and the usual beginning and ending ends.

Knitting the neckline decreases on the front panels were a bit tricky. In order to stay in pattern and to ensure 1 st decreased each row sometimes I did a double decrease and other times I didn’t do the ssk or k2tog decrease and just k1 if the pattern already decreased the stitch.

followed other knitter’s advice of alternating p2tog and p3tog for the back of the neck so that it wouldn’t end up too loose.
