I used a sweater that fits him well right now for the measurements.

12/16: 3 days away from his birthday and the sweater is NOT going to get done. I finished the cloud on the front and it is way too small. I realized I would need to do intarsia for the cloud, but what I didn’t realize is that you CANT DO INTARSIA IN THE ROUND! Ahhh… so I had to turn the work and do purl rows back during the cloud section. I’ll have to seem up the 3 inches of this section… but I probably should have wrapped and turned this closure… AHHH… maybe I will frog this section entirely and do the could in duplicate stitch instead. I’m doing everything else in duplicate stitch. I think this makes more sense. AND I think I will need another skein or two of malabrigo in black. sigh I had such lofty goals. Time to put down the sweater and see if I can at least finish Sonic in time for his birthday.
