Notes

11/27/12 - I saw these in the magazine and I just have to have a pair! After swatching found I needed to go down a needle size to get gauge. However, as I make my way up the arm I’m ready and willing to increase needle size to keep the sleeve fitting snugly.

11/30 - I’m in the 5th repeat of the lace section. The pattern is quite easy to follow. This is a lace pattern that gives you a big visual impact without using any special stitches. Of course in the pic it just looks like yarn spaghetti but it should block out great!

12/3 - Finished with the first sleeve. I used size 2 needles up to the 7th repeat of the lace pattern and then switched to siz3 2.5 needles for the last 2 lace repeats (total of 9) and the ribbing. I haven’t blocked it yet but the fit feels good. Now I just need to finish the second sleeve and both top edging. And block everything. And sew the pieces together. Lol. I better get back to work on it!

12/5 - I’m halfway through the 2nd sleeve! My progress slowed down a bit because I decided to crank out a quick cast-sock for a friend. But its done & I’m back on my pretty-pretty sleeve. Btw, the cat just had to get her butt-end in the pic. Sorry about that.

12/9 - No new pic to add but I’m steaming to the finish line! My goal is to have them done to wear to my LYS Christmas party and I think Imma gonna make it!. I have both sleeves and one of the edge trimmings finished.

12/14 - Done! And in time to wear to the Christmas Party too. :)
