Mods to the pattern:
a) knit every even row, rather than knit the knits & purl the purls
b) used M1R & M1L for toe increases & gusset increases
c) eye of partridge heel
d) decreased to 64 stitches to the work leg so that there would not be 2 purls at each side of the leg

I’m calling these Zeegers because the colorway reminds me of Zebras & Tigers (even though the actual color name is Giraffe).

Very easy pattern.

I have overcome my fear of toe-ups, thanks to Wendy & to Judy’s Magic Cast On.
