Notes

07.26.09: Cast Off!!!! She’s now blocking. I’m very happy with this pattern. I rarely make anything twice, but this one may get knit again!

The yarn was a bit splitty and is more of a sport weight than DK, but I would probably use the yarn again.

07.09.09: FROGGED!!!
See why here.

06.28.09: CAST ON!

06.25.09-06.26.09: swatching…..
This yarn seems more like sport weight than DK. It looks like I will have to use size 7 (4.5mm) needles for this. Of course, the fabric is not as dense as I would like, but this may be the way to go, although I am contemplating using size 6 (4.0mm) needles and just knitting up the larger size.
decision, decisions, decisions

•Knitting this to wear with my “little black dress” for Kaylie’s wedding in Monterey, CA, August 2009, although I am kind of thinking about knitting the Viennese Shrug for the wedding. I’ll see how the bolero comes along, and if I don’t like it, I’ll switch to the Viennese.
