Modifications: I knit the 0-6 month size on DK weight yarn with size 3 needles and added an extra ruching section (followed 6-12 months size for extra ruche).

I grafted the shoulders using the kitchner stitch for garter, following this excellent YouTube video.

5-24-12: cast on smallest size (0-6 months) using cable cast-on. I am using a heavier weight yarn than the pattern calls for, so I am making the smallest size, hoping it will end up being more like the 6-12 month size.

5-27-12: I am not doing the embroidered flowers. It as not looking good……I think just the eyelets alone look good too. Fast and fun knit.
