Made over a number of years between other projects, this is a copy of the magic blankets my Grandma made when I was a child. She died nearly 20 years ago now so I set about figuring out how to make one of ‘her’ magic blankets after learning to crochet. This blanket was gifted (in a bit of a rush hence the odd size and no yardage info) to a woman who is about to give birth to her first child and, through no fault of her own, has been left on her own with nothing for her baby and not much money to get things together before she arrives.
