Notes

21/4 - changed to second ball of wool at end of row 6/start of row 7 of 5th pattern repeat using russian join

28/4 - half way point of centre section! just finished 8th repeat and still have 16g of second ball remaining

2/5/14 - changed to 3rd ball of wool about half way through 12th row of 10th pattern repeat using russian join

23/7/14 changed to 4th ball at end of 2nd row of 16th (last) repeat

27/7/14 knit back after 3rd row moss st before turning 90 degrees so picking up with right side facing. Picked up 183 down each side and 187 top and bottom, using ends of top and bottom as corner sts so sides 185 and 183. later discovered that this was wrong, pick up 181 on one side and 182 on the other to end up with the correct number for the knitted on border as follows:

MATHS: 5 rows garter (increasing on 3 knit rows =+24), 12 rows bee (increasing on alternate rows=+48) and another 5 rows garter (increasing on the two purl rows=+16). Therefore CO187+181+187+182=737 plus the 88 increases=825 plus another 16 for the mitred corners during the knitted on wave border =841 minus 1 which is used to cast on the 14 sts to start the knitted on border which leaves 840 sts. This is divisible by 7 and therefore matches up pattern wise***

1/8/14 changed to 5th ball at start of 11th row of bee stitch.

9/8/14 Changed to 6th ball just over half way around the knitted on border

12/8/14 finished knitting but not blocked yet :-)

16/8/14 blocked to 110cm square although jt will stretch to 120 if I reblock it (I need to do it at my parents house where there is more space!) WON FIRST PRIZE IN THE VILLAGE SHOW! :-D
