Notes

I’m not sure how in the heck the designer got 18 sts over 4 inches on size 10 needles. I had to go down to a 7 to get that, so I wonder if that means I have to do 4 sizes smaller for my smaller set of needles too… I usually have to go down one needle size or so on many gauges. Perhaps she is a tight knitter, while I am a loose one.

My daughter is only 14 months right now, so I might do a couple less raglan increases so she doesn’t swim in it.

I finished the body, then realized I missed some of the instructions and I forgot to do the hip decreases. Bleh. I was partway through the sleeves at this point, so I finished the sleeves, then ripped out the lower portion of the body. I probably could have left it, but I want this to work for a couple of years, and I had inadvertently cut out some length by doing this also.

I worked the sleeves till 8 inches before ribbing. 10” sleeves should definitely cover 2 years, and any longer would have made it look really goofy this year.

Used a size 4 for all the ribbing.
