This is my second ever colourwork project. I really wanted to learn how to knit with two colours, one in each hand and I’ve finally figured out how to do it without it hurting!!! Success!

12/15/09 - Dear God, look at that - one year to the day after I cast on for this project, I completed it. Who on earth could have predicted that would happen? It should have been finished much sooner - months ago, to be honest. I had finished knitting it back in October I believe but then just became lazy with the finishing touches like sewing ribbon over the steeked edge and such. Such easy, simple things that I avoid so adamantly! It’s beautiful now. Absolutely beautiful. It’s an amazing thing when you’re proud of yourself.
