Cast on with size 7s to firm up the edge and did the set-up row 3x so the end didn’t look wonky.

4/11 - I love this project. I could have finished it in two days, maybe even one. But the truth is, I was upset when I cast it on. Things weren’t going well with the guy I was dating and, in a fit of not knowing how to fix things or what else to do, I cast on a whole whack of projects in a weekend. This was one of those, which quickly fell to the side while I tried to actually finish some of my older projects.
This pattern is amazing - simple, straightforward, and well written. I believe that there is one error. On Row 1 of the buttonhole, it should be
K1, p1, k1, p1, k1, p1 - that last purl one isn’t in the pattern, but it should be so that you can do the reverse on the way back. The buttonholes are beautiful and elegant. I don’t have buttons for it yet - I’ll have to go to the spinning vortex of evil for them, but it’s always worth it. After all, I get awesome buttons AND brunch at Vine and Bean.

Oh, and this yarn? Best stuff EVER.
