I had been trying forever to teach myself how to do Entrelac, and trying to learn on my own just was not cutting it. So I signed up for a class at River Colors Studio and within the first 15 minutes of the instructor going through the crystal clear pattern instructions she had created for us, I not only understood it, I was hooked. This scarf traveled around with me for just over a month but the truth is, I finished it after a week. But then, just as I was about to bind off, I decided that I wanted to make it longer. Then, when I was halfway through, I decided that I wanted two different colourways to be paired together. This scarf came with me to Carlisle, where Andrea and I spent the weekend listening to Tobias Woolf speak, and it came with me on my holiday whirlwind visit where I finally finished it on New Years Eve at my sister’s house. This scarf is filled with the love of all the friends and family that surrounded me during its creation.
