Notes

6/12/09 - Well, there were a few snafus - I started the decreases and then ran out of yarn, so I had to rip back and take out one of the repeats. It’s a bit shorter than I would have liked, but that’s okay - it’s lush and beautiful!
5/25/09 - I’ve been wanting to use this yarn for this project for a few weeks now, ever since the KAL started. I held off because I didn’t think it would be fair of me to start a Clap for myself while I was working on one for Karyn. Since I cast off hers tonight, I decided that it was finally time to start on one for me.
Aak’eed is the Navajo word for autumn. Since this is the Navajo colourway, and since the yarn reminds me so much of the tree-covered mountains in the midst of autumn, I thought it a perfectly beautiful name.
