I started this on a sick day, thinking I could finish it by the next night when I was - supposedly - going to get to see Suzy. I realized the next morning that I had no hope of finishing it on time but luckily, I wouldn’t get to Pittsburgh early enough to see Suzy either! I set it aside until I got back to Cleveland, then finished the ears and chin straps and put the whole thing together.

You will notice, of course, that this was done using acrylic. This, of course, makes it unfeltable. I’ve used glue to stiffen the ears some, and I’m putting some pipe cleaners around the outline of the ears so that they can be a little more moldable. I’m sure it’ll stay much better once it’s on an actual child’s head :o)
