I had a 2-day training in Pittsburgh for work, so I took a bevvy of knitting projects with me. As it turned out though, these hats were the only things I worked on, and I finished the third when I got back to Cleveland. This is such a simple and lovely pattern. I’ve really loved working on it every single time, and by the second hat, I had all the stitch numbers and increases and decreases memorized.

One modification - I did NOT like how pointy the hat got when I did the K2tog on the remaining 7 stitches. After I got it down to 7 stitches, I just pulled the yarn through and bound off. I’m much happier with the rounded top that creates.

I decided to do a 3-stitch i-cord for the ties. This used up a little more yarn than I actually had, so I had to dip into one of the other balls for just a little piece at the end, but darn it all if it doesn’t look all cute and professional that way!
