4/2/09 - I began winding the yarn into a ball before midnight, so it counts that I’m starting this on the second. I don’t understand people who use ball winders - I love doing it by hand and getting to really know the yarn for the first time. I’ve been in love with this yarn since I got it, and I’m falling even more in love with it now. It looks like daffodils, just like the field of daffodils my old neighbors had at their house, a quarter of an acre of daffodils every spring. This is the finest yarn I have ever used, and I’m just so stoked about finally using it for what I think will be the perfect project.

9/25/09 - Finished! I guess that this can’t be my springtime daffodil scarf anymore, so it’ll have to be my autumn leaves scarf :o) I have less than a gram of yarn left over, so I would say that’s close to perfect!
