More baby things…I am definitely about to hit my baby-burnout-breaking-point of baby things…and the thing is, at this point, I’m kind of making things for babies that might not exist, just because I got into the baby zone. This one, I’m fairly sure, is for my cousin Max because I’m meeting him in a few weeks. Maybe it will be for Kai, since he’s still little at this point. Part of it is that I want to have a stack of pre-made baby things to fall back on for all the inevitable showers I can feel coming in my life, and part of it is me looking at all this cheap acrylic and cotton yarn I bought with other projects in mind that didn’t get used up or weren’t ever made and wanting to just use it up and get it out of the stash, you know? I’m hoping I have enough yardage for the size I picked…we’ll see.

10/14 - Well, I had to rip back a few days ago and start again. I had started with the 12 month size, and I wasn’t even to the armhole separation when I realized tehre was no way I was going to make it. So I’ve dropped back to the 6 month size and I’m much more confidant about the yardage situation this time around.

Finished! It turned out really cute. I’m so happy with the way it looks with the two contrasting colours, and I made a little M on the front, just to make it extra precious. My mom really loved it, so I’m hoping that Tina and Michael will love it on Max as well.
