Followed the Rye pattern for the basic sock schematic, but used a different weight yarn and larger needles. Followed the “toddler” size for the number of stitches, but given the worsted weight, I ad libbed most of the actual pattern. They came out great--especially for Z who will wear them as slipper/socks and not real socks. So we’ll see how the wear and tear goes. He picked out the yarn and seemed excited about the project and that’s what matters to me :)
He is 10 now and wears a size 6.5 shoe in youth--just for sizing comparison.
