26/2/11: This is going to be huge!!! I’m cramming because I need this ready for blocking no later than Wednesday, March 9th!

20/6/11: What was I thinking! A quick project? NOT! But I was in awe after this baby was pinned out and stretched on the blocking board. Wow. Impressive! A testament to PK’s genius in design.

I swore I wouldn’t have the patience to crochet another one like this, but looking at it now, knowing it is destined to be a gift, I now know I won’t be able to resist to hook-on another one. A very stunning piece that will leave you “bewitched”.

15/9/13: Blocked and out of limbo!

19/10/13: Gifted to mom, to go with her new dining set.

Note to self: Circulo Clea is very nice for knitted projects, but if I would ever crochet this again, I would opt for a high-end 6-cord mercerized cordonnet. Clea was somewhat splity, then fuzzy, making corrections, and 2nd and 3rd attempts even more difficult to accomplish without further damaging the thread. As a consequence, it was a bit tedious to crochet all those pineapples and I am a bit wary of the sturdiness of the finished piece.
