Notes

06/08/10: Had a nice supper with the bride, and offered my gift for I was sick on June 12 and couldn’t attend the wedding. She was enthralled and moved and all giddy. I am so happy! Mission accomplished. Long live the happy couple!

Knits up like a charm in BabyUll!

09/05: I reach up to the thumb in a month. Did the first mitten as is, but I am thinking of charting up a personalized motif for the second mitten.

I got to pick up the pace though, because my friend’s wedding is in a month!

Yeah! All done. A bit awkwardly large (because originaly a men’s mitten), but I guess the space is needed to fit the long caption.

leftovers: 24g MC and 34g CC before thumb

12/05: 1st mitten finished, right on schedule!

19/05: charted 2nd mitten with the name of the newlywed and the day and month of wedding.

leftovers: 22g MC and 30g CC. I will need a little more than a skein of MC.

notes: CC dominant. I like the gusset thumb. The cuff is a bit too long to my taste.
