I’m not quite sure what the main yarn is in this hat. It came from the stash of a friend. Definitely a wool/mohair and perhaps alpaca blend. Soft and lofty, and a beautiful soft green. The band yarn was a partial ball of Noro, I think perhaps Blossom, or at least that loopy texture, but possibly thinner. I just started knitting on the band, wasn’t sure what I was making, and only had so much of the Noro. I like what happened with the hat, liked the way it fit and draped. Don’t hold your breath on the pattern, I’m very slow when it comes to actually writing something down. However, I’ve started a hat in worsted weight yarn and handspun that is based on this one. The hat is now sold.
