Notes

I ordered one skein of this colorway through the shop. We carry Brown Sheep, but not the Lanaloft, and it looked interesting.

This is a one-of-a-kind neck warmer, just designed as it was knitted. I love doing shortrows, and use the turning method I learned from the book Variations Using Short Rows by Ruth Kindla. Her work is absolutely amazing.

The neckwarmer has a buttonhole, but I haven’t sewn a button on it yet, as I have a small collection of these shawl pins from Steve Elder (south4th on etsy), and prefer to use them.

UPDATE: 8/15 Well, as I found I never had anything to wear with this color combination, I finally overdyed it with Kool Aid and food coloring. It’s much more to my liking now, and I think it will get some use this winter!
