Loved the movie ‘Gentlemen Prefer Blondes’. Marilyn has always been a classic icon of beauty, grace and ethereal beauty. If you were wondering about the name of this project, it’s a spin-off from the movie name! Though the tunic has no relevance to her, the pattern is yummy enough to want to be linked to her in some way! :)

Using Vardhman Millenium for this one. The yarn is super soft, is in a lovely shade of pink and I am just waiting to finish this one.

26th Dec: Finished the ribbed section. Will be starting on the cables now. CO 200 sts and just added 4 sts like the pattern calls for. Not planning to make anymore increases until the bust section because a lot of Ravellers here have said that inc and dec with cables can be quite tricky. So, I’m going to avoid that altogether for as long as I can! :)

8th Jan: Finished around 3.5 inches of cable pattern. Another 18 inches to go to complete till the armhole portion.
