1/25/13: I have not actually cast on yet, but this is my next project to cast on.

1/28/13: I cast on today and I am onto the second stripe with the first contrasting color. HOLY CRAP this is going to take FOREVER!!! I am just looking ahead to the rest of the pattern. Short rows with three different colors!? I hate stripes! Why did I think this was a good idea??

1/29/13: Added the third color last night. How am I supposed to juggle all these yarn balls at once!? TANGLES!

2/1/13: Into third repeat of the short row segment. Once I’ve figured out how to keep the yarn from getting tangled, I’m starting to like it a lot more

2/5/13: Halfway through the 5th repeat of the short rows. Still loving it!

2/9/13: Only 9 more rows to go on the edging. I’M ALMOST DONE!! WOOOOHOOO!

2/9/13: I just finished binding off! I was left with less than a foot of the yellow left. It looks a little funky right now, but the colors are gorgeous together and I am hoping that with some stiff blocking it will look wonderful. I finished this thing in 13 days. That has to be some kind of record

3/7/14: A year later and this is still one of my all-time favorite knits. I LOVE THIS PATTERN!
