The second Mist Hat has been made for a friend of mine who liked my grey version of this cosy hat. Her only request was about the colour - I tried to find hues in the Rowan’s palette of yarn which are closest to the “red apple” Now I think I could have better shot with Rowan Lima colour Rosario 712 and the Kidsilk Haze Blood 617 or Liqueur 595. If only I had them in my stash, I would try all combinations and would choose the best one.
Anyway, the hat itself came out nicely, I made it exactly the same as the first one for myself. Although this time I did not need to borrow few metres of Kidsilk Haze yarn from enother ball. Even more, I had few meters of leftovers of both Lima and Kidsilk Haze.
Hopefully, my friend will be happy wearing the hat as I am wearing mine ;)
P.S. My cat could not resist the pleasure of distracting me from the photoshooting, so I soon gave up and do not have any proper pictures of the hat…
