One of my favourite hat so far. It is so soft and cosy and it sparkles a little bit because of the Kidsilk Haze eclipse metallic thread. The combination of Rowan Lima and Kidsilk Haze eclipse is wonderful!
Although, next time I will start the rib with 1 purl, 1 knit, instead of * 1 knit, 1 purl,* because with that repetition order the back seam does not look neat and conceal ( the first raw is on the WRONG side in my case ). For main rib pattern I used instructions from the very old knitting book I own. I guess the proper name for the stitch from my book is a “brioche stitch” instead of original “knit one below” from Kim Hargreave’s book. It was easier for me to knit that type of stitch instead of original one, but the final appearance is the same.
The number of cast on stitches and decreasing were exactly the same as in the Kim Hargreave’s book.
I had to use approximately another 5 grams of Kidsilk Haze eclipse from second ball, that is why I stated 30 grams of total usage.

UPDATE - after some consideration I ripped of the back seam off and turn the “wrong” side of the hat into “right “ side as the pattern looks identical on the both sides. I only needed to knit again the few last raws. Finally I satisfied with the overall look and how the seam “submerged “into the rib pattern - it is neat and concealed.
