My sister had insisted on having a flower on the hat, so I made one. I used 3,25 mm needles and split the original thick Drift yarn thread so the flower comes out refined. I also felted it lightly by washing it in turns in soapy hot and cold water. The Swarowski pearls were sewn after the flower was completely dry.
Now I am thinking about making the one for myself ;)
