23 July 10: We’ll see how far I get with this one hank of lovely yarn. I’d use a 3mm hook, but I don’t have one. I’m impatient!

22 Dec 10: After a week of a lot of television watching and feverish crocheting, I finished the shawl last night. Because I used a hook that was slightly too small for the yarn, and because I worked on it in so many places over a few months, I decided to gently wet block it instead of spraying. Better photos to come.
