Notes

I started out with a more complicated pattern, but I decided with this yarn, it would be easier to do something using 2 strands at a time. Therefore, I went to a very simple pattern - just garter st with alternating stripes.

The striping turned out quite subtle but I liked the look… For the first stripe, the dark blue and the light blue were combined. Then for the second, the dark blue was kept and white was swapped in.

Most importantly, the blanket turned out nice and fluffy so I’d definitely do something double-stranded with it again. If you’re using any needles above size 6/7ish, the material you knit feels kinda thin when not doubled up (IMHO).
