I bought this kit a year ago from Kate Davies and decided I needed to get these knit before the New Year.

Like others have suggested, after casting on I knit one round of ribbing in the pattern in the CC, then did the 8 rounds of the colourwork ribbing pattern. I used 2.5mm needles for the leg and the foot and 2.25mm needles for the ribbing, heel and toe. Also, I did 23 rows for the heel flap.

I loved knitting these, and the funny thing is I didn’t expect to, which is probably why I waited a whole year before casting them on.
