I used DK weight yarn to try and get a 6 month size sweater. Even with going down a needle size it ended up more like a 12 month, which turned out to be a very good accident since my new grandson is a huge baby. It should fit perfectly this fall. Cute pattern, but I am rubbish at sewing in sleeves.
