Kauni is a yarn distributor who actually buys yarns from Aade Lõng (yarn factory in Raasiku near Tallinn) and Lithuanian Teksrena, washes and winds it up and distributes all over the wolrd. So there is some misunderstanding about what Kauni yarns are. I think the colour I used hear is one of Teksrena colours. For a long time I was not sure what to make from it, the yarn appeared somehow uneven and tolerated only stockinette or simple lace. I did not want either. But then I somehow came upon English rib (patent in Estonian) and the fabric gained texture. The rest was easy. I slightly modified my basic construction but the main characteristics, such as top down and seamless, are present. If we are to believe what is said about the yardage of Kauni, I used somewhat more than 600 m. The sweater is rather loose-fitting, it is a nice change.
