Winter Thaw KAL over on Skeinqueenery

8/01 Set-up and Chart 1 (5 repeats) = 14g. Decided to add a 6th repeat, as there is so much yarn left and my gauge is smaller than than that of the pattern. Loving the bumps on the reverse side

9/01 Chart 2 started, with 305sts.

13/01 Chart 2 completed, plus 1 repeat of rows 13–30. (On repeat of row 19 I omitted the first ssk and last k2tog, as well as the ssk and k2tog either side of the centre stitch, as I found myself 4 sts short at the start of repeat row 13 in exactly those places.)

17/01 Cast off, with 41g left. Yardage on this skein is pretty generous!

Blocking … Looks beautiful. Pattern is lovely and I love alpaca shawls – I can’t praise this yarn enough!
