As soon as as I saw this yarn in the yarn shop I fell in love! I love the radiant colours! But I´m known to never buy acrylic yarns.. I spent an hour in the shop picking up other yarns I needed (wanted). And came back to the Parrot and it said to me: if you don´t buy me now you´ll be sorry later.

Next two days I spent deciding which pattern to use. I wanted something beautiful to match the beauty of the yarn. I went through my books, magazines, pinterest saves and Ravelry faves comparing and visualizing.

Calypso turned out to be the match I was looking for. An amazingly beautiful design. And flexible since you can add repeats according to your needs. What I needed was not to waste any of this gorgeous yarn.

So, to use the whole 200g, I ended up repeating both the parts that were suggested to be repeated. And improvised the border using rows from the pattern. I only had less than a meter of yarn when I finished.

And, of course, I now have a lovely shawl!
