Relatively quick knit.

The yarn turned out to be a great choice for this project. I love that it’s washable so my sister doesn’t have to worry about throwing them in the wash. I think they will keep her hands warm while conducting this winter. I did have problems with tangles and knots forming, but nothing super frustrating.

I’m glad I upped the needle size to the size 3. They fit snugly and don’t have much give, but do not cut off the circulation. Lots of stranding for the colorwork here. I made sure to float (is that the right term?) the non working color if there were going to be more than 4 stitches in between uses. I didn’t want there to be any long strands that fingers could get caught in when you put them on.

Also worth noting that I had cast off after finishing the chart. Mainly because I didn’t see that direction until too late. oops.

Watched 3 shows during the making of these. Orange is the New Black, Hemlock Grove, and American Horror Story (season 1 only).
