Many months of sporadic knitting, plus a few mishaps, and I am proud to say that I’ve completed my first lace shawl! The Icarus pattern was a little monotonous at times but overall enjoyable. The finishing rows were certainly the most interesting and concentration-heavy. As a newb, one thing I noticed: in order to make sure the edging comes out scalloped after blocking, make sure to keep the bind off loose. I pulled mine a little too tight and ended up with rather shallow scalloped edges.

Update: In a moment of clarity I decided to undo and redo my bind off. Yay for scalloped edge goodness!
