Super cute pattern found by Lynn…and promptly modded by me :-P

I used Comfort Chunky but smaller needles to get the cables to really pop. US9 for the main hat and US8 for the brim.

Various mods:
I made cables all the way around the hat, instead of only in front, this time adjusted to fit my big noggin. I also changed the band pattern again for this hat, sort of “fake crochet”.

I opted to add some Peltex interfacing to the brim and it’s great: moldable, not too heavy and washable.

This hat uses beautiful larger celtic knot buttons.
