row 8 bind off w/o using yarn dropping all the yos
spend 20 minutes cursing and trying to get the extra yarn to even out

Ripped it out and started again,
1-2 rows knit
3 yo
4 drop yos
5-7 rows know
8 yo
9 drop yos
10 knit and then ran out of yarn to bo. disaster. hate this yarn
