I don’t know what I’m doing! this looks complicated!!

Ok, you just have to read it, it’s not that complicated :)

The yarn broke when I was casting on and I got COMPLETELY paranoid that the yarn was disintegrating (I bought it 3 years ago) but it’s not breaking as I’m knitting and I can’t wait to block it and see what this yarn turns into! Brooklyn Tweed experiment!

Still not sure why I need 2 skeins, just measured my 2nd ball it’s 48g. I still have 21g left in ball one with 15 rows to go (shaping the crown - 46 rows done).

Yep just blocked, it’s the perfect size and I had 17g left over from the first skein. Well now I can make 2.5 more hats :) What a different blocking makes with this yarn! instant yarn, just add water :)
