I have wanted to try a Tin Can Knits sweater for a long time. I love the sideways cable of this one, and I think the kettle dyed yarn is going to be gorgeous.

My gauge is way too loose lately. I had to go down to 5’s! I hope that’s right…

Finished! And I looooooooove it :-)
I’m so glad I’ve finally broken the ill-fitting sweater streak I was on.

I used 5’s as my larger needle, and 3’s for the collar and the button bands, and 4’s for the sleeve cuffs. I continued with the 5’s for the hem, b/c I don’t like my sweaters to pull in too much at the bottom.

The buttons are from my grandmother’s button jar.
