The yarn took 10 days to get to me after I ordered it online, so I have 5 days to crochet this shawl for a weekend event. Not sure I can make it, but it’s worth a shot :-)

Aug 14: Wow. I finished in 4 days! I was skeptical at first, but it really came together quickly.

Notes for next time: When you slip stitch up the side, do so loosely. My sts were tight enough that it made the shawl lopsided. I don’t think this is a real problem, but if I were to make it again, I’d be more careful about that. I think I’d also make my foundation chain looser. I think the body of this shawl has more stretch in it, but it can’t go anywhere due to the two sides that are too tight.
