Notes

I love my first Tea Leaves and have worn it so much, but there are a few things I want to change this time around:

  1. Make a smaller size (I’d like it to be more fitted than the first)
  2. Replace the garter stitch on the sleeves with a rib (the wide sleeves get in the way when I’m working - I want something that will fit my arms more closely)

09-08-2012: I cast on and knit 16 rows in one night. I think I am a faster knitter than I was a year ago…

09-19-2012: Have been informed by my husband that this yarn looks like a Christmas tree. Trying desperately not to agree with him, as I’d like to wear this more than once a year.

09-28-2012: Body finished. The ribbing is 2x2. I used a #8 needle to keep the ribbing from pulling in. I won’t do this with the sleeve ribbing, though. I don’t mind if that pulls in a bit.

10-06-2012: Taking the advice of several others who have gone before me, and single-crocheting the neckline to help avoid stretching.

10-08-2012: Done! I love it. I made some buttons out of polymer clay to perfectly match the yarn - they’re tweedy, too!
