DIL showed me a picture of a very cute baby hat and asked if I could knit one for her.

I don’t usually reverse engineer as I’m not that good but I decided to have a go so this is my first version. Not quite right but second one should be better.

CO 20 and knit to 15 inches.
Pick up stitches.
Need sharper increases instead of starting with K9 K2 tog

Second try for better shaping.
Picked up 52 so 13 per needle
Decreased twice on each needle to give sharper shape until down to 24 stitches
Decreased once per needle
Knit one round then K2tog all round
